As both a military wife and a photographer I understand the significance of homecomings. I know how it feels to be waiting on the dock as the ship pulls in, I know how that first hug feels and I understand how precious the photos can be.
I also believe in the timeless and expressive power of photographs. Creating a beautiful photograph means capturing the right balance as a moment unfolds, and often times the beauty is in the unintended in between moments.
