for the football team. After graduation I was part of an Emmy-winning production team for NFL films. The producers at NFL films are some of the most creative storytellers in the industry, which influenced me to return to my roots in still photography.
My background in cinematography and documentaries has inspired my work. I believe the timeless and expressive power of photographs. To me, creating a beautiful photograph means capturing the right balance as a moment unfolds, and oftentimes the beauty is in the unintended in-between moments. Movement, light and emotion are central themes in my work. Besides your memories, you will have these photos to look back on. I have a creative, fun and modern take on photography.
As a military wife I understand the significance of homecomings. I know how it feels to be waiting on the dock as the ship pulls in, I know how that first hug feels and I understand how precious the photos can be.
Before you book me as your homecoming or family photographer I want to tell you a little bit about me and my approach. I am a photographer because I cannot imagine being anything else. I love working with people and capturing their stories. My focus on film and photography began at a young age. In fact, my friends and family will tell you that they have rarely seen me without a a camera. I started my first photography business when I was in high school.
