Looking for reasons why you should photograph your loved ones deployment? Here area few reasons that I believe that its important.

Three reasons to photograph a deployment:

1. It’s an important milestone! And while it’s a hard day, it’s also a big part of your Military career, as both a military family and a military spouse. It’s also a day of celebration for your loved one, who has worked so hard to get where they are.
2. Your photographer can capture last minute photos of you with your loved one. And then if you are lucky they can capture them in action, doing what they love. You will be able to look back on these photos while they are deployed. I cherished the photos from my husbands deployment. While it was painful to look at them at first, but I treasured mine while Phil was deployed.
3. For years to come you will be able to share the photos with loved ones and friends when you explain what it was like to be in the military. It’s hard to put it into words, but photographs can do the trick.

It’s good to capture the good with the hard.
