Debating whether or not you should take pre-deployment photos? I had the same question before my husband first deployed. We ended up taking photos right before he deployed and I sure am glad we did. There are so many things to take care of before you’re loved one leaves, its easy to push pre-deployment photos to the bottom of the list. Here are a few reasons that I highly recommend taking them
3 Reasons to take Pre-Deployment Photos:
- It allows you to stop and appreciate time together. Pre-deployment is such a stressful overwhelming time. Its full of to-do lists and emotions. Taking time to take photos together makes you pause and enjoy some time together. It gives you time to appreciate each other and do something fun.
- While your loved one is gone you will have fresh photos to look at every day. Gives you something to smile at and remind you have happy memories. They will help you get through deployment.
- They are the perfect gift to send your loved one while they are deployed. You can print them and send them in a care package. The photos will be something they can hang up in their rack or put on their desk to remind them of home.
Homecoming photos are incredibly special but don’t forget to take your pre-deployment photos.
